Performance & NLP Coaching

"Coaching is unlocking people’s potential to maximize their own performance" (Whitmore, 2009).

One of the fundamental principles of coaching is that the individual’s performance equals his potential minus interferences (such as limiting beliefs). We work together in order to identify and remove those obstacles so that you can live a free and fulfilling life.

What makes NLP coaching unique is that it incorporates the NLP methodology and thus a variety of NLP techniques in a structured framework. The focus is on how you represent the issue rather than why the issue is there.

By changing the representation, we change its meaning.

Furthermore, the NLP coaching process is based on the GROW model (Whitmore, 2009). To illustrate the approach, let’s imagine planning for a trip.

  • We first define the destination - your goal (G),

  • then we look at your current situation - reality (R).

  • We explore the different options (O), how to go there, having in mind the obstacles you face as well as the resources you have to overcome them.

  • We focus on the questions what to do and how to do it, so that we can get clarity of the way forward (W) and make sure that you have the will (W) and determination to reach your destination. We define practical action steps and the timeline, to make sure the destination is reached swiftly and time efficiently.
